Welcome to PolkVoice.com. Since June 2006, Polk Voice has provided a new way for individuals and organizations in Polk County, Florida, to get their news out.

Members of the public post news, photos and videos on www.polkvoice.com, which is updated daily. A selection of the articles is published weekly in the free print editions of Polk Voice.

The deadline for submissions is noon on Wednesday to be considered for the following Wednesday’s publication.

The Ledger publishes two editions of Polk Voice: Polk Voice West, which serves Lakeland and Mulberry; and Polk Voice East, which serves the eastern side of the county.

Between the two editions, Polk Voice is distributed to more than 100,000 households, most of which do not subscribe to The Ledger; Ledger subscribers can make a request to receive the publication.
